Eric George was featured on a recent episode of an L.A. Times podcast titled “Crimes of the Times: The Assassination of RFK”. This episode covered both the historical background of the tragic Robert F Kennedy assassination and more recent events regarding efforts by the assassin, Sirhan Sirhan, to get paroled. George described his work, on behalf of the Kennedy family, to oppose the parole, which ultimately resulted in its denial. George noted the continued lack of acknowledgement of guilt as powerful evidence for why the parole should have been, and was, ultimately rejected. The podcast also explored how George’s father, former Chief Justice of the California Supreme Court, Ronald George, had decades earlier led the charge on behalf of the Attorney General’s office to oppose Sirhan’s appeal.
